is an independent filmmaker, writer, and sound designer from Mashhad, Iran — a creative force born from adversity, resilience, and a relentless love for storytelling.Born into humble beginnings, Omid spent his childhood (between ages 9 and 13) working as a street vendor to support his mother. He faced early struggles with health issues, including kidney stones and chronic gout, which later caused him to lose multiple city center night watch jobs. Despite financial hardship and social pressure — including unjust criticism aimed at both him and his devoted mother — Omid never abandoned his creative ambitions.At age 20, he set his sights on competitive bodybuilding. For nearly two years, he followed an intense, disciplined lifestyle with strict diets and training, preparing to step on stage. But once again, lack of financial resources forced him to step away — not from his dream, but from the path toward it.What followed was a period of physical pain, personal loss, and rejection. Omid took on long-hour jobs just to make ends meet, all while caring for his mother after her major surgery — a responsibility he carried alone. But in the quiet moments between survival and exhaustion, his imagination burned brighter than ever.With no access to professional equipment, Omid turned to what he had: a Huawei P30 Lite, a notebook, and an idea. In 2025, he wrote, shot, edited, and scored his first sci-fi short film, CORPORATION, using only mobile tools and AI support. Created with a $10 budget, the film explores dystopia, corporate exploitation, and rebellion — themes deeply intertwined with his lived reality.His sequel, CORPORATION²: Revolution of X, achieved international recognition — officially selected by the Lift-Off Filmmaker Sessions (Seasons 11, 12, and 13), earning multiple laurels and acclaim among emerging global indie talents. It marked a major step forward for a self-taught, self-funded artist working entirely outside the studio system.Additionally, CORPORATION²: Revolution of X was screened on the WIPE platform in Germany, and has been listed for jury review consideration at the NANOCON Awards (USA) for 2026.Omid now aims to continue his experimental filmmaking journey with the same independent spirit and minimal resources through his upcoming project, THE IF PROTOCOL — a new sci-fi concept following the same creative philosophy that brought X to life.His story isn’t just one of filmmaking — it's a declaration:
